Given that Chaofan is an enegetic and active student leader and his outstanding service spirit to the UIC community, he was elected as the Student Representative of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences on the UIC Senate and Quality Assurance Committee (QAC). UIC Student Affairs Office also nominated Chaofan as the first cohort of Student Advisors to suggest the college works regarding student affairs.

Chaofan was the speaker of UIC Student Court and Vice President of Globalisation and Development Programme Academic Society. Chaofan will be in position of above duties in October 2022 and will step down from these potisions at the end of this academic year.
