Chaofan’s co-authored chapters in the book “Comparative Studies on Pandemic Control Policies and the Resilience of Society” will be published by Springer Nature, a world-renowned publishing house.

Chen Chaofan has acted as a research assistant under the supervision of Professor Simon Xiaobin ZHAO (Associate Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at BNU-HKBU United International College) and engaged in Prof. Zhao-led book project team as a contributor. Chaofan wrote the chapter “How the Pandemic affects global leadership: A Comparative Analysis of the G2 (the United States and China)” as the second author, with Prof. Selçuk Çolakoğlu (the second author) and Mr Luke Jiawei Chen (the third author). For the chapter “Political Considerations and Rationales for Different Control Policies in COVID-19 Pandemic: An Analysis from the State Theory Perspective”, Chaofan has also contributed as the first author and collaborated with Mr Luke Jiawei Chen (the second author) and Dr Coco Yan Bo (book editor and the third author).

The book “Comparative Studies on Pandemic Control Policies and the Resilience of Society” has been scheduled to be printed in March 2023 and will start selling online and offline in April 2023.
