Chaofan’s Departure from UIC Senate, QAC Membership, and Student Advisory Role upon Graduation

As my time at BNU-HKBU United International College draws to a close, I will be stepping down from my current public service positions as UIC Senator, QAC Member, and Student Advisor. Serving as a student representative in college governance has been an incredible journey and has allowed me to realize my personal ideals of public service.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to those who elected me as the representative of UIC students, as well as all the senior administrators and administrative staff that I have had the pleasure of working alongside. It is your unwavering contribution and commitment to this liberal arts university that has contributed to its popularity and renown not only in China but also beyond. UIC students are capable of entering top-tier universities around the world to continue their pursuit of knowledge in Master’s or even doctoral degrees.

Serving on both the UIC Senate and QAC has been a tremendous honor, and I take great pride in all that we have achieved during my tenure in these positions. The memories and friendships that I have made here at UIC will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am eager to apply the skills and experiences that I have gained toward making a positive impact in the future.

As I prepare to step down from these roles, I will attend my final Quality Assurance Committee, Student Affairs Committee, and Senate meetings in June.
