Chaofan, along with his former instructor, Professor Selçuk Çolakoğlu (Globalisation and Development Programme Coordinator) from Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University, and his colleague at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Ms. Liang Xinyue (Year 2 PhD student in Government and Public Administration), presented two distinct papers at the 2025 convention of the International Studies Association.

The Chicago visit was highly rewarding and eye-opening. This was Chaofan’s inaugural attendance at an international-level, top-tier conference organised by the Association in his field. Chaofan and his collaborators received invaluable guidance from the audience, discussants, and chairs of panels. We extend our sincere gratitude for their insights and support.
