Chaofan Hosted the UIC Leadership Forum 2021 on UICers’ Engagement in Sustainable Development
Repost from UIC Website: 中文 (Chinese Only) 领袖论坛2021：UICer如何参与可持续发展 在人、社会与环境可持续发展过程中，领袖的作用和影响力举足轻重。本次领袖论坛中，各嘉宾与学生领袖共同就UIC学生如何参与可持续发展展开讨论。 文逸从交通与环保的关系方面展开话题，探讨节能减排的关键性及我国目前移动源排放的情况。此外，环境保护需要领导力的带动和指导，在UIC的环保实践中，同学们应该做到两点：认清问题的源头和理解解决方案。 王小毛从气候变化下“脆弱”的绿洲的角度与同学们分享她所见到的世界大环境的变化，尤其在森林生态环境方面，呼吁以众人之力塑造环保之力。 曹昊谈到可持续发展应该是习惯，而不是选择。而学生领袖是提升可持续发展影响力的有力角色。 孙睿浛结合近期校园发布的有关环保政策和节能成效，认为UIC校内节能需要每个人的积极行动。 尹嘉滢提到环保涉及到节能、减排、气候等多个维度，UIC学生富有自己的专业学识，不局限于环保相关人员及专业，希望未来更多学生能够学以致用为可持续发展注入更多创意和力量。 李川浩分享了赣南油茶项目组采用商业手段解决茶油滞销问题的，与环境科学系阮华达教授合作，将果壳制成活性炭，回收废弃的活性炭，回田作为肥料，从茶渣提取茶皂素进行洗手液的生产，充分发挥了可持续发展的经济价值，为茶农带来更多收入。 陈超凡从全球合作与政策方面分享了一些看法，他认为学生领袖应当利用自身的影响力，宣传和推广可持续发展。 Read.
